Document Description
On August 11, 2026, the Butte County Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 4276 at a noticed public hearing (PROJ-26-0035). Ordinance No. 4276 is a County-initiated Zoning Code Amendment (PROJ-26-0035) amending the Butte County Code Chapter 24 (Zoning Ordinance) to adopt the following section (Butte County Code Chapter 24, Article IV, Division 1, Section 24.176 – Mobile Food Courts).
This amendment establishes mobile food courts as a permissible land use in Mixed-Use, Commercial, and Industrial Zones subject to an administrative permit process. This amendment establishes development and operation standards such as for parking and trash disposal, which mobile food courts in unincorporated Butte County shall meet.
