Document Description
The project would demolish the existing office building to construct an eight-story, 225-unit, multi-family residential development. The eight-story residential building would reach a maximum height of 95 feet and would have a Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of 2.61. Of the 225 units, 34 units (or approximately 15 percent) would be provided at various levels of affordability. In addition to the residential units, the project would include an eight-story parking tower, pedestrian trail, two ground level courtyards, rooftop deck, clubhouse, pool, and gym. The project also includes site access, utility, and right-of-way improvements. Since residential uses are not permitted under the current General Plan and zoning designation for the site, the project would require a General Plan Amendment from Low Intensity Office/R&D to Very High Density Residential, and a rezone from Light Industrial (LI) to Very High Density Residential (R-5).
