Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Pacific Bell Telephone Company dba AT&T California to perform traffic control within Caltrans right-of-way to excavate a 4-foot by 4-foot dig pit, access existing manhole 13064 and splice box 3900, and pole numbers 4894395E and 1922842E located within Caltrans right-of-way. Access manhole 13064 and splice box 3900 to place 12-strand fiber cable within the existing AT&T 4-inch duct, and access poles to place aerial 12-strand fiber cable from pole 4894395E to pole 1922842E. Excavate a 4-foot by 4-foot dig pit to intercept existing duct and place eight feet of one 4-inch conduit from pit to pole # 4894395E. The work is located on State Route (SR)23, at postmile R10.16, in the City of Moorpark, County of Ventura. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 36 inches, an average width of 48 inches, and a maximum length of 4 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
