Document Description
Install new interpretive display cases and signs at South Finegold and Temperance Flat Day Use Areas in Millerton Lake State Recreation Area to provide visitors with information about park rules, park hours, areas and facilities of interest, and area orientation in relation to balance of park lands. Display case will also relay important water safety tips for visitors entering the water at unguarded shorelines. Using mechanical equipment or hand tools at each site work will: • Excavate two (2) 15-in. x 15-in. x 24-in. deep post holes; • Insert one (1) 4x6 redwood post in each hole and pour concrete to secure; • Attach one (1) prebuilt display case to the posts; • Apply a resin stain to the exposed wood; and • Affix educational/informational materials and secure the case with a locking plexiglass window.
