Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes electrical equipment upgrades at three (3) different locations along State Route (SR) 99 at Postmiles (PM) 5.275, 7.984, and 12.702 in San Joaquin County. The scope of work includes replacing Road Weather Information Systems (RWIS) sensors, equipment, hardware, cables, enclosures, and cameras with type 1. As well as replacing Closed-circuit Television (CCTV) and cables with type 2. All work will be done within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to ensure the RWIS and CCTV are upgraded to provide reliable real-time live video feed of roadway, traffic, and weather conditions within the project limits. The project is needed to improve mobility of the traveling public.
