Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a HM-4 rehabilitation project along various state routes in Sacramento and Placer counties to rehabilitate, replace, or relocate existing ramp-metering and Traffic Management System (TMS) elements at multiple locations. The work includes conduit trenching, cleaning, and replacement of existing electrical conductors, installation of new Cast-in-Drilled-Hole (CIDH) pile foundations and poles equipped with Microwave Radar Systems (MRS), Flashing Beacons, and/or Microwave Vehicle Detection Systems (MVDS), installation of new guardrail at light pole locations where needed, and replacement of existing electrical detection loops.
