Document Description
A request by Luke Faber for a Major Grading Permit (GRAD2023-00089) to allow for a slope stabilization system that includes the installation of steel wire mesh over an erosion control mat and anchored by soil nails. The system covers an area of approximately 1,600 square-feet. The proposed project is in substantial conformance (MOD2023-00028) with a previously approved Emergency Permit/Minor Use Permit & Coastal Development Permit (P910346E/D910310P) that allowed for bluff top stabilization measures including a network of drilled, below grade, reinforced concrete piles connected by reinforced concrete grade beams, a network of surface and subsurface drains, placement of larger rocks on top of existing rip rap at two locations, and construction of a new rip rap seawall at a third location. The proposed project will result in the disturbance of approximately 0.06. The project is in the Residential Multi-Family land use category and is located at 447 Lucerne Road, in the community of Cayucos. The site is in the Estero Planning Area.
