Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), using state funding, is proposing to place an asphalt rubber (AR) chip seal with isolated digouts. All work will take place within existing edge of pavement. No work will be performed on bridge decks. The purpose is to extend the life of pavement and provide a safer, more comfortable ride. The AR chip seal is needed because the existing pavement surface is in poor condition.
