Document Description
The proposed project activities involve acquisition of professional services for the replacement, design, implementation and support of the Water Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system and software maintenance, and the replacement of approximately 36,000 existing water meters, network communication endpoints and water meter lids. The AMI system is an integrated digital system of smart water meters, two-way communication networks, and data management software that automatically transmits water use data to the utility and consumers in real time or at frequent intervals. The project scope of work will not expand the physical dimensions of the existing water meters, water meter lids or network communication endpoints.

The proposed activities involve acquisition of professional services for the replacement, design, implementation and support of the Water Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system and software maintenance. This activity does not involve construction activities, enactment and amendment of zoning ordinances, improvements to existing public structures, adoption nor amendment of local General Plans or elements.
