Document Description
This Variance is granted to authorize deviations from the
development standards of NCZO Sections 8106-1.1 and 8106-5.1 (a) related to
accessory structure height and setbacks. Specifically, the request includes the
installation of two, 30-foot-tall steel poles atop a 1-foot base (total height of 31
feet) with battery-operated security cameras affixed to the top of each pole. The
base footings of the poles would be within the 15-foot rear setback of Greenhouses 3 and 4. The cameras will not be connected to main power and
operate 24 hours per day, 7-days per we.ek. Exterior lighting is not proposed
as the cameras are designed to record in any light condition.
