Document Description
The Project consists of conducting a hydrogeologic study (Study) to evaluate groundwater conditions and support potential well development. Study activities completed to date include two phases of geophysical surveys and the installation of four groundwater monitoring wells.
The Project includes construction of one 14-inch-diameter stainless steel test well to an approximate depth of 100 feet below ground surface. The test well will be designed to pump groundwater at rates comparable to those of a municipal supply well. Following well installation, a pumping test will be conducted, and groundwater level and pumping data will be collected from the test well and the four existing monitoring wells. The data will be used to characterize and quantify the hydrogeologic properties of the site, including groundwater production capacity, aquifer response, and hydraulic characteristics.
