Document Description
Adapture Renewables, Inc. (Orleans Energy Center, LLC) proposes to develop the Orleans Solar-Storage Project on approximately 160 acres of private land in unincorporated western Fresno County, California. The Project would consist of a 25-megawatt alternating current (MWac) photovoltaic (PV) solar energy generating facility paired with a 25-MWac battery energy storage system (BESS) capable of storing up to 200 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity for up to 8 hours, an onsite electrical substation, internal electrical collection infrastructure, and an approximately 1-mile, 70-kilovolt (kV) generation-tie line connecting to the existing Pacific Gas and Electric Company Giffen 70-kV Substation.
