The project is categorically exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Sections 15301(c) and 15301(f) because it consists of minor alterations to existing streets, sidewalks, and related public facilities, including installation of a traffic signal and pedestrian crossing, restriping, and upgrades to existing curb ramps. These improvements constitute safety and protection devices associated with existing facilities, involve negligible or no expansion of existing use, and will not add automobile lanes. None of the exceptions identified in CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2 apply.
