Document Description
Caltrans proposes a project that will consist of replacing asphalt concrete surfacing and replacing with Hot Mix Asphalt- Type A. Additional work includes installing construction area signs, removing and replacing thermoplastic traffic striping and pavement markings, adjusting utility covers to grade, and replacing traffic detector loops. All work will be within the existing State right of way. Equipment staging will be confined to paved surfaces and existing non-vegetated turnouts. With the exception of construction area signs, no soil or vegetation disturbance will occur outside the pavement limits. The project is needed to preserve the integrity of the roadway and will benefit the traveling public.
