Document Description
Caltrans is planning a project that will consist of replacing obsolete Changeable Message Sign systems, wiring within existing conduit, cabinets, controllers and other associated cabinet components. The project aims to enhance the operational efficiency and reliability of the existing traffic management system. All replacements will utilize current industry-standard equipment. All work will be confined to the existing State right-of-way. The Purpose of the project is to replace assets which are at the end of their lifecycle, using obsolete technology, or are in poor condition. The project will benefit the traveling public.
