Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
15304: (Minor AlteraUons lo land),15303: (New Consln.iction of Small Structures)
Reasons for Exemption
The project qualifies since it involves minor alterations to land and construction of small, accessory structures, including limited surface leveling and installation of a modular sport court within an existing developed school field. The work would occur in a previously disturbed area, does not involve significant excavation, removal of any trees, and would result in negligible expansion of use. The project would not result in significant impacts to biological resources, cultural resources, hydrology, or surrounding land uses, and therefore has no potential for significant environmental impacts.
