Document Description
The project consists of a new Sheriff's Wireless License for use of one Interior Radio Vault Rack Space and space for one omni antenna mounted at the 39-foot level of the existing radio tower on a spider mount at the existing Palomar Mountain Communications Facility for the Valley Center Municipal Water District. The proposed license would supersede the existing Sheriff's Wireless Lease. The current Lease is scheduled to expire on July 31, 2026, with the existing Lessee transitioning to the new Licensee under the proposed License Agreement. The new License will have a ten-year term commencing August 1, 2026, and expiring July 31, 2036.

The project will not impact environmental resources of hazardous or critical concern that are designated, precisely mapped and officially adopted by government agencies; does not contribute to cumulative environmental impact; will not have a significant impact on the environment due to unusual circumstances; does not damage scenic resources within a designated state scenic highway; and is not on the list of Hazardous Waste and Substance Sites pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the Government Code.
