Document Description
The proposed project consists of modernization improvements within the existing Hermosa Valley School campus. The scope of work is focused on existing Buildings A and C and related site
improvements within previously developed school grounds. Project activities Include modernization and reconfiguration of existing d assroom and instructional spaces; Improvements to existing science
lab/classroom areas; modernization of student support, administrative, and related school spaces; restroom improvements and accessibility upgrades; path-Of-travel and ADA accessibiltty Improvements
as required by code; fire/life safety, utiH ty, and building systems improvements associated with the modernization work; minor exterior improvements, including canopy/trellis and related site improvements
within the existing campus; and minor demolition, construction, and finish improvements necessary to complete the modernization scope.The project will improve existing school facilities and support the
District's ongoing educational program. The work will occur within the existing developed campus and will not expand the school site boundaries or change the existing school land use.
