Document Description
The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) will complete repairs to four areas of the existing sewer system at Atascadero State Hospital. The current system has multiple failures and deteriorated components. The work includes removal and replacement of aging infrastructure, rerouting of sewer lines, point repairs, and cured in place pipe lining. The four areas of work are: Area 1 - Replacement of grease interceptor. Area 2 - Trench and install new 6" sewer line; abandon old sewer line in place. Area 3 - remove and replace section of sewer pipe that has been fractured by metal rod. Area 4 - Installation of Cured-In-Place Pipe lining for approximately 983 lin. ft. of 6" sewer main.
