Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife plans to reroute a broken waterline that runs from State land through private property. The segment of the waterline located on private land will be abandoned in place. Approximately 3,600 feet of new water line will be installed. The new alignment will be constructed entirely on State lands. Installation will occur through trenching and/or jacking and boring. The project will require boring beneath State Route 166 and excavating bore pits along an existing dirt road. The new waterlines will connect to existing infrastructure that supplies a water cistern, wildlife pond, and wildlife troughs.
