The project consists of pedestrian enhancements and safety measures at four existing intersections. All improvements would be within the existing right of way and would not increase roadway capacity or alter the existing use of the facilities. The project would include minor alterations to existing public facilities with no expansion of use and therefore qualifies for a Class 1 (Existing Facilities) categorical exemption under CEQA.
