Document Description
The Frazier Park Public Utilities District (FPPUD or District) is proposing to implement two water infrastructure Projects in the near future for which the District is seeking funding from the State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Drinking Water (DDW). The first Project is a new potable water well, proposed District Well #8. The second Project is the replacement of approximately 18,300 feet of District potable water distribution pipelines in three of the District’s service areas, Summit Area, Lower Summit Area, and Texas Trail. The well drilling rig (Direct Rotary Rig) will be brought onto the site to drill the well. This will require about two to three weeks (14-21 days). Once Well #8 is completed, the equipment will be brought onsite to complete the well for production. Most of the 18,300 lineal feet of 8” pipeline (of the District’s total of approximately 100,000 lineal feet) within these areas will be installed within existing road rights-of-way (ROW), with a few alignments located on undisturbed land immediately adjacent to developed areas. The pipelines will be installed using standard trenching methods.
