Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number CAL-67928-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Barbara Schirato. The project is limited to the replacement of a bridge over Bear Creek on Stockton Box Road. The new bridge will have a total span of 40 feet and will be re-aligned to be perpendicular to Bear Creek. The Project includes the removal of existing concrete footings on the banks in addition to eroding concrete located in the channel of Bear Creek. The new bridge structure is engineered to support a 135,000-pound piece of equipment. After replacement of the old structure with the new design as described above, the channel of Bear Creek will be 12 feet wide at the creek, 23 feet wide at the bottom of the bridge, and 11 feet tall.
