Document Description
Description of Nature, Purpose and Beneficiaries of Project: LBT1 – Operating and Maintenance Headquarters (LBT1) would be upgraded to act as the battery-electric bus Division with depot charging to support the battery-electric bus fleet. LBT 1 at build-out would accommodate approximately 130 battery-electric bus fleet. The upgrades to the facility will include the design and construction of an overhead structure to house the charger dispensers for vehicles parking in the middle and southern parking areas. The overhead structure would involve a pole frame in the center spine of the bus parking area for the battery-electric buses to plug into. The overhead structure would include 19 new chargers that would power 76 drop down dispenser plugs, and 5 pedestal chargers that would power 10 dispenser cables to accommodate approximately 130 battery-electric buses.
