The proposed project would meet the conditions required for projects to be exempt under Class 1 (Section 15301) and would not cause any significant impacts to the environment because it involves renewing an existing lease with no expansion. In accordance with Section 15300.2, which stipulates the exceptions to CEQA categorical exemptions, the proposed project would not result in a significant cumulative impact, significant effect on the environment, or impact scenic highways, hazardous waste sites, or historical resources. Accordingly, the proposed project is exempt from the requirements of CEQA.
