Document Description
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) is proposing a project which involves approximately 66 small diameter geotechnical borings within the cities of Westwood, Bel Air, and Sherman Oaks, spanning approximately 9 miles. The data collection will inform design of Metro's Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project. The proposed geotechnical borings will be implemented in phases Sepulveda Transit Corridor Geotechnical Borings Project. No more than 8 borings will occur at a time.

The project consists of data collection that will not result in serious or significant impacts on the environment. The majority project is located in urbanized setting within public rights of way such as public streets. Other locations include private property, and educational institution. Metro conducted a desktop evaluation for all boring locations to document no impacts on environmental resources will occur.
