Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace two existing poles (#1247896E & #1247906E) along eastbound (EB) State Route 118 (SR-118) at postmile 5.6/6.37 in the unincorporated community of Somis, County of Ventura, as well as perform temporary traffic control activities. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 72 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
