Document Description
The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (District) along with the San Mateo Resource Conservation District (RCD) are proposing to install two Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tag array monitoring stations to establish baseline data and track long-term trends in coho salmon and steelhead population within the San Gregorio Creek in San Mateo County. Installation of the two arrays in San Gregorio Creek and fish tagging would be undertaken by qualified biologists with the San Mateo RCD. Installation of monitoring equipment would be done by hand to install array tubes in the creek. Minor vegetation clearing may be required but no removal of trees or permanent changes to vegetation would occur.
