Document Description
The projects propose to construct a 66-inch trunk sewer across State Route 99 along the north side of North Avenue. Within the State Route 99 right-of-way, install the new trunk sewer inside an 84-inch steel casing pipe extending from the west side of the southbound off-ramp, beneath the southbound off-ramp, the southbound and northbound mainline travel lanes, and the northbound on-ramp, terminating east of the northbound on-ramp. Install the steel casing pipe by bore and jack. Outside the State Route 99 right-of-way, continue the trunk sewer east and west along North Avenue. Construct the trunk sewer using 66-inch fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar pipe. This is an oversight project for which the City of Fresno has applied to Caltrans for an encroachment permit to perform work within Caltrans right of way.
