Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for American Dark Fiber LLC to place temporary traffic control devices and signage for the installation of approximately 354 feet of underground HDPE conduits with fiber-optic cables, consisting of 341 feet of (3) 1.25-inch HPDE conduits and fiber cables via HDD bore and 13 feet of (1) 4-inch conduit and fiber cable via open trench at 48-inch in the Caltrans right-of-way on State Route (SR) 90 at postmile 2.84 and Interstate Route 405 at postmile 25.48, in Culver city, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 354 feet. The excavation will also include a 4-foot-by-6-foot bore pit. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
