Document Description
The proposed project consists of improvements to an existing man-made drainage ditch located parallel to El Centro Boulevard. The drainage ditch currently functions as a stormwater conveyance facility and includes several existing culverts that facilitate the conveyance of stormwater through the drainage system. The proposed project would involve the maintenance and rehabilitation of the existing drainage facility to restore its hydraulic capacity and improve long-term functionality. Project activities would include the removal of accumulated sediment, debris, and vegetation; grading and re-sloping of the drainage ditch to restore the intended channel geometry and drainage conveyance; and the collection and off-site disposal of all removed vegetation and debris at an appropriate disposal facility. Existing culverts would remain in place and continue to function as part of the stormwater conveyance system.
