Reasons for Exemption
The project was reviewed pursuant to the guidelines of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and determined to be exempt pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) (Common Sense Exemption) of the CEQA Guidelines in that there is no possibility that the tentative tract map for condominium purposes may have a significant effect on the environment. The tentative tract map for condominium purposes will apply to a residential development that was previously approved as a five unit apartment complex and found to be categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15303(b) of the CEQA Guidelines. The current request will allow the residential development to be made available as for-sale units and does not introduce any physical modifications or intensification of use.
