Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), using state funding, is
proposing a pavement overlay along State Route (SR) 395 in Modoc County between
Post Miles (PM)39.9 and 47. The purpose of this project is to extend the life of the
pavement and provide a safer more comfortable ride. Th project proposes to place 0.10’ overlay with isolated digouts. Pavement mill and fill will occur at beginning and ending conforms. Guardrail will be removed and replaced as needed and shoulders will be backed to standard. All work will be performed within the existing roadway prims.
