County of Mendocino Department of Transportation (County) proposes implementing the Outlet Creek at Reynolds Highway Bridge (10C0174) Replacement Project (project). The existing single-lane bridge was constructed in 1955 and is considered scour critical and fracture critical. The County proposes to replace the existing bridge with a new two-lane bridge and traffic rated vehicular barriers to meet American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials standards. The new roadway profile would match the existing profile. The bridge would be placed on a new, slightly modified alignment upstream of the existing bridge. The project area encompasses approximately 3.45 acres.
