Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes pavement rehabilitation on an approximately 50.6–mile segment of SR-74, starting at Fairview Avenue at Post Mile (PM) 45.1, near the City of Hemet, and ending 7.1 miles east of Big Horn Drive at PM R92.3, near the City of Palm Desert, in Riverside County. The project involves the reconstruction/upgrade of the pavement along SR-74 (through cold plane and overlay), culvert replacements, guardrail and end treatment replacements, sign panel replacements, localized digouts, construction and upgrade of curb ramps to Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards, Transportation Management Systems (TMS) elements, and complete streets elements, such as sidewalks and bus pads.
