Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace three utility distribution poles along State Route 138 (SR-138) in the City of Palmdale, County of Los Angeles. The existing poles will be replaced in-line, one foot east of their existing locations, on the roadside along SR-138 in the westbound (WB) direction at postmiles (PM) 47.916, Pole 1184712E; PM 48.006, Pole 1184710E; and PM 48.050, Pole 1184709E. Temporary traffic control will be in place. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 84 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
