Notice of Exemption
Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Section 15301 Class 1 and Napa County Local Procedures Appendix B Class 1 for Vineyard replants
Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of redevelopment of existing vineyard entirely within the original 0.8-acre development area. The project would not result in a net increase in soil loss or runoff, and would not result in a net increase in groundwater use, and would not result in reductions in groundwater recharge. The development area is not located in an environmentally sensitive area and is not on any of the lists of hazardous waste sites enumerated under Government Code Section 65962.5. There are no unusual circumstances associated with this project that would cause it to have a significant effect on the environment (see project file in the office of the Napa County Department of Planning, Building and Environmental Services for the documentation supporting these conclusions).
