Work will consist of high friction surface treatments, installing various rumble strips, motorcycle barriers, striping, signage, and flashing beacons. All work will be within the existing State right of way. Equipment staging will be confined to paved surfaces and existing non-vegetated turnouts. The project is needed to implement safety enhancements along this highway.
