Reasons for Exemption
The project is intended to reduce rainwater inflow and infiltration of groundwater into the system to reduce the volume of water treated at the wastewater treatment plant. The project would repair or replace existing sewer infrastructure in the same location and capacity as the existing. Any excavation would be done within the limits of the originally excavated area when laterals were installed, and the road surface would be restored when complete. No exceptions, per Section 15300.2, exist. Please see NOE attachment for additional information.
