Document Description
Project consists of removing barriers and providing improved access to existing day use facilities at Rancho San Andreas Castro Adobe Park Property to better accommodate visitors with disabilities. Work will:
• Construct an accessible concrete parking stall and access ramp to the front entry of the Kimbro House;
• Construct an accessible path of travel from the Kimbro House Courtyard to the front of the Castro Adobe with two (2) landings for installation of interpretive signage;
• On the front and side exteriors, minimally excavate to construct a timber-edged aggregate paved area for a firm and stable surface for large tour groups to congregate;
• Provide an access ramp to the existing wooden deck in front of Adobe; and
• Using materials matching the existing deck/boardwalk, construct a new low-profile deck in front of the Cocina entrance to establish a flush entry into the exhibit area.
