Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes upgrading electrical equipment at six (6) locations within Stanislaus County. The scope of work includes replacing all primary components (Controller & Cabinet) of a signal location that are in poor condition on Route 99 in Stanislaus County at all 6 locations. All construction work will take place within the existing State's Right of Way. The purpose of the project is to provide maintenance to existing traffic management system (TMS) elements that are in poor condition or outdated. This project is needed to keep existing TMS elements working at the level of performance required to relay real-time communication to both Caltrans and the traveling public.
