Document Description
The 2011 Sustainability Action Plan and 2025-2027 Strategic Priorities direct staff to reduce parking requirements and make the City more business friendly. The ordinance amendments propose reducing parking requirements for shopping centers to a minimum of one parking space per 350 square feet of gross floor area and establishing a definition of shopping centers. The purpose of these amendments is to assist business owners in decreasing barriers to development and improving the quality of life for Tracy residents.
