Document Description
Emergency project to repair storm damage at various locations in Imperial County at State Route 78, 86, 98, 111, 115 and I-8. Caltrans will clean and repair all damage caused by Tropical Storm Juliette to ensure adequate surface runoff through the existing drainage systems for the safety of the motoring public. Project work consists of cleaning and sometimes repairing damaged culverts, flushing plugged drainages, removing excess material from inlets and outlets, replacing damaged drop boxes, and cleaning debris within Caltrans ROW. Six trees at WB I-8 Sunbeam rest area in El Centro will be cut, removed, and hauled out.
