Document Description
Work will consist of a 0.08' Rubberized Bonded Wearing Course - Gap Graded (RBWC-G) overlay, replacing rumble strip, placing shoulder backing on existing shoulder backing, and replacing pavement delineation. All work will be within the existing State right of way. Equipment staging will be confined to paved surfaces and existing non-vegetated turnouts. Construction Area Signs and Portable Changeable Message Signs will tentatively be placed between Men-101-PM 66.0/70.1 with negligible soil disturbance. The purpose of this project is to place an overlay on this segment of highway, as a form of preventative maintenance, in order to preserve the integrity of the roadway, and benefit the travelling public.
