The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SHA-59713-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Samuel Petty. The project is limited to the removal and reconstruction of an existing stream crossing over an unnamed tributary to Stillwater Creek used as an access to residential dwellings. The existing concrete structure is failing and conveyance pipes are plugged and insufficient to pass stream flow resulting in frequent overtopping, damage, and passability issues. The structure will be removed and replaced with a similar structure within a similar footprint. The replacement structure will include four 29” by 42” diameter squash-type culverts to increase conveyance capacity, inlet and outlet rock project will not require removal of riparian trees or shrubs and will be constructed when the stream is seasonally dry. Annual maintenance of the structure including replacement of rock and/or removal of accumulated sediment and debris may be necessary.
