Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a highway maintenance project to place cure-in-place pipeliner (CIPP) or concrete invert paving and to repair joints and invert at several culvert locations along Routes 5, 5S, and 14 in Los Angeles County. The ten (10) sites are located between post miles (PM) R51.43 and 80.00 on Interstate (I) 5, at PM C45.49 on I-5S, and between PM R28.93 and R48.61 on State Route (SR) 14. The purpose of this project is to restore the ten existing culverts to meet current safety standards. The need arises from the drainage culverts having lost serviceability due to deterioration. This project will effectively prevent erosion, ponding, flooding, and improve safety. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired.
