Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to install approximately 98LF of SCE conduit bank via open trench from the existing SCE vault and perform associated temporary traffic control activities, on State Route (SR) 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) at postmile (PM) 0.23, at Studebaker Road, located in the City of Long Beach, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 42 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 98 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
