Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for the Southern California Edison (SCE) to remove/replace the existing 50-foot Class 4 distribution pole (1036349E) with a new 50-foot Class 2 distribution pole in its existing location along the sidewalk along State Route (SR)1 in the southbound (SB) direction at postmile (PM) 14.2 in the City of Torrance, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 84 inches, an average width of 48 inches, and a maximum length of 4 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
