Document Description
The Authority is moving forward with property boundary surveys under Business and Professions Code § 8774 and Civil Code § 846.5 regarding the Delta Conveyance Project. These laws allow land surveyors to access private property with notice to the owner or tenant when practicable. This work includes entering upon public and private lands to attempt to locate property corners. Surveyors may be required to dig with hand tools to locate survey monuments.
The survey activities do not commit the Authority to any current or future project, and it does not entail any construction or other activity that could result in a potentially adverse impact to the environment.
