Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Professions Code, Section 26012, approved a Specialty Outdoor commercial cannabis license submitted on 03/23/2026, by Sundial Acres, LLC. The project consists of 3,960 square feet of Specialty Outdoor cannabis cultivation. The mature canopy would occupy a previously disturbed area within the premises. Processing and 255 square feet of immature plant propagation also occur on site. The water source is a permitted well. The water use per season is estimated to be 75,000 gallons per year. No construction or grading would be required as all buildings required for the cultivation are already in place and the site is currently used for cannabis cultivation. CCL19-0001907 is an existing Specialty Mixed-Light Tier 1 license on-site held by the same owner.

Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
